The difference between plywood and other sheets

Plywood

Also known as splint, multi-layer board, the industry commonly known as thin core board. It is made by hot pressing three or more layers of one millimeter thick veneer or sheet adhesives. It is the earliest wood-based panel material used for home decoration. It has high strength and good bending resistance, but its disadvantage is poor stability, easy deformation, not suitable for cabinet doors. The splints are generally divided into six specifications: 3, 5, 9, 12, 15 and 18 centimeters (1 centimeter is 1 mm). 3mm is used as the ceiling of radian, 9mm, 12mm is mostly used as the back of the cabinet, partition, kicking line. 15mm and 18mm are mostly used for scaffolding in engineering. Like woodworking boards, the quality of splints can also be judged by thickness: the temporary stand built for the same song last year used all 18 mm multi-ply boards. For these boards, buyers asked many merchants to buy them, not the price, but the market can reach the standard thickness of the board is too few.

Joinery board

In the trade, it is called big core board, and Nantong people directly call it woodworking board. It is made of two splints of wood bonded and pressed together in the middle. At present, Nantong home decoration board consumes the most. Wood boards are divided into 12 mm, 15 mm and 18 mm according to thickness (industry commonly known as 1.2, 1.5, 1.8). Door and window covers are 12 mm and furniture is 18 mm.

According to the quality of interior wood, there are Eucalyptus willow core, Chinese fir core and poplar core from high to low. Another example is that the keel of the floor is the best material of the eucalyptus. Sometimes even the floor nails are not easy to knock in, but larch is only cheap and beautiful, so more people are selected.

Woodworking boards are assembled separately and manually according to their processing methods. Because there are great differences in production technology, the performance indexes of the former are higher than those of the latter. The way to distinguish them is to see whether the width of each core is the same. If so, it means that the former is assembled mechanically.According to the splicing method of internal wood blocks, it can be divided into flattened opening and enterprise opening.
